Starting in July 2024, The City of Steele will begin collecting a thirty-dollar ($30) deposit on all trash totes. This amount will be added to the water bills at a rate of five dollars per month, per tote for six months. All new customers will be required to pay the thirty-dollar ($30) deposit in full when setting up their account with the City of Steele Water Clerk.
